5 band qrp transceiver design DL2MAN and PE1NNZ


Early April I received the basic kit. The soldering can begin
By the end of June all the soldering is done. Thanks to Jos ON6WJ.
Now I can load the software. In the meantime I am also busy printing the housing.
The software loading went smoothly. Everything is nicely explained on the DL2MAN website.
During testing the inevitable happened. I made a short circuit. Result is that the atmega328 is defective. I have now ordered a new one and expect it by the end of July 2022.
The new atmega is received. But there is still a problem on the motherboard. I have decided to replace it.
now everything works fine. I have 4.8W power on 80m.
Now I can test further and adjust the coils by moving the wires a bit. This allows me to adjust the power to the maximum on each band.
In early October, the small 0.96" screen was replaced by a larger 1.29" screen.
In  May 2025, the transceiver was donated to Leonardo CO6ZAF.
